Incentives

Washington County provides business assistance and performance-based incentive programs to qualified businesses and economic development projects which seek to locate or grow in our community.

State Incentives

Virginia’s discretionary incentives, infrastructure assistance, and recruitment and training programs are just a few examples for ways in which the Commonwealth seeks to support employers who choose to grow and investment in its communities.

Enterprise Zones

Several locations in Washington County are part of a designated Virginia Enterprise Zone, including multiple sites in both Highlands Business Park and Oak Park Center for Business and Industry.
